STI’s are common. By the time individuals reach age 25, at least half have had a sexually transmitted infection.
Even so, STI’s remain a sensitive topic for many people. It can be difficult to discuss one’s symptoms and sexual history with a health care provider.
For individuals who do not have access to a doctor or lack health insurance, getting tested is even more challenging. Fortunately there is good news!
Seneca County Health Department offers no-cost STI testing and treatment at Finger Lakes Urgent Care and Finger Lakes Community Health.
