The Seneca County Health Department provides a vital role in protecting the public during an emergency.
In the event of an emergency impacting the health of our residents, the Seneca County Health Department would participate in a coordinated county response to protect the health and safety of our residents.
The department maintains and exercises plans and our response to a variety of hazards such as disease outbreaks, contaminated food and water, insect-borne diseases impacting humans and animals, the release of a biological agent or chemical and natural disasters.
